Target clients are grouped within arenas of software, media, wireless, mobile, and green technologies, and a typical candidate will be in the compensation range of $120K+ with 7-25 years experience.

bizjournals - Business Journal publications for many locations. Both on-line and hard copy publications are a rich resource about the business community in 41 locations.

Value Line - Provides valuable financial information about corporations.
LinkedIn – Resource to discover who knows the people you want to know.

idEXEC – An online global database of executives at the world’s most important public, private, non-profit, and government organizations.
dnbsearch.com – Source of information on private companies-from the billion-dollar giants down to mom-and-pop operations.
Forbes.com – The Largest Private Companies – Forbes’ list of the largest privately held companies. Provides detailed financial information and names of executives.
craigslist – A peek at who is hiring locally. Don’t use it to connect, only to discover.
headhunters.com – A portal for candidates to find recruiters in their specialty and direct links to companies who are hiring.
Echelon Magazine – An online magazine that publishes articles on GLBT finance, economic development, workplace advocacy, corporate diversity, education, employment and explores the ever evolving GLBT marketplace.

Indeed – Offers information on jobs and typically strips out the job board or other advertiser.
glassdoor.com – Employees talk about their employer.
konnects.com – Professional social networking.
Spoke.com - Online bio on professionals. This is one of many sites that grabs what it can about you from the Internet and creates a bio. It is imperative to visit all these sites to correct your bio. New ones pop up every day. The casual reader has no idea of the validity of the information. We can’t stop them from aggregating but we can make sure the information is accurate. If they charge membership, contact them directly and ask that your name be removed. One complication is many people share your name. This is just one of the unfortunate issues for which there is no solution other than to make sure your name is out there in enough other places to cancel out the bad ones.

Jibber Jobber is exactly the sort of organizational tool all job seekers need. An order of magnitude more useful for job search tracking than any spread sheet. In JJ’s own words: “JibberJobber started out as a job search spreadsheet to track and organize a job search, and quickly evolved into a long-term relationship manager for your personal career management.” Worth a good look IMHO.
simply hired is a template for most job search engines. The site aggregates results from major job websites, newspapers, company websites, associations and other online sources. Employers cannot post jobs. Site is strictly for job seekers. Users can search by occupation, job title or location.
